STALL HOLDERS
It is now time to register your interest in holding a stall at the Bunbury Geographe Gift – Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 April 2018.

The Bunbury Geographe Gift is a National running event where 2 days of sprint races will be programmed over the weekend.  In addition to the race program there will be a community playground full of free and low-cost activities for families. Within this playground we will be setting up the Wyalup Beach Café.  We will erect 2 large stretch marquees and scatter tables and chairs.  This is where we invite food vans and vendors to submit an expression of interest to attend the event.  Before submitting this form please read the terms and conditions very carefully to ensure you can comply.

This is an inaugural event and anticipated numbers are based on entries to our races.  Expected attendance per day 2000 + (This is conservative)

Venue: Basalt Area and Wyalup Point on the beach front in Bunbury.  Ocean Drive opposite Bunbury Recreation Ground.  Roads will be closed.

Event Times: 9am to 4pm  both days – (no traffic movement in venue during this period)

There will be security on site overnight so stalls will not need to be dismantled after Day 1

  • Food and product stalls who have their own ABN/ACN are required to provide a copy of their Public Liability Insurance Certificate of Currency and Registration of Food Business (attach to this form)
  • Information and other stalls relevant to sport and healthy lifestyle are welcome to apply
  • Fees (3m x 3m): NOTE – ALL THESE FEES ARE FOR 2 DAYS – No one day applications will be accepted

    • Market stalls $80
    • Information stalls $40

PLEASE READ! CONDITIONS FOR STALLS AT THE 2018 BUNBURY GEOGRAPHE GIFT

    1. Public Liability Insurance: All stalls are required to have insurance.  Food and product stalls who have their own ABN/ACN are required to provide their own public liability insurance (a copy must be provided to the event coordinator).
    2. Stallholders participate in the BGG at their own risk and are required to indemnify and hold harmless the Bunbury Geographe Gift against any claim for damages, costs, claims, expenses and liabilities. (Including without limitations consequential loss and loss of profits) in respect of any loss, damage, injury, disease or death caused through any of the stallholder’s activities at the BGG.
    3. Event hours are from 9.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April 2018.
    4. Stall holders shall be set up and ready to commence trading at 9.00am. Support vehicles are to be removed from the venue by 8.30am
    5. Stalls are not to be dismantled before 4.00pm. It is expected that all stallholders will have enough supplies to operate throughout this period.
    6. Stall fees will not be refunded should inclement weather or factors beyond the control of the BGG management affect the event.
    7. No refunds will be given for cancellations of bookings made within two weeks prior to the Event.
    8. The BGG management reserves the right to refuse any applicant to maintain the spirit of the event or change stall locations without notice.
    9. Temporary Food Stalls – must comply with City of Bunbury Guidelines for Temporary Food Premises. This can be obtained from the City of Bunbury Manager Environmental Health Sarah Upton, ph no. (08) 9792 7095.
    10. Stall Holders are to provide their own tables, chairs and weather protection (shades, tents etc). Spikes / Tent Pegs may not be driven into the ground in some stall areas. Stallholders must provide their own weights or methods of securing shelters in these cases. Stallholders are responsible for the erection and dismantling of their own shades. Weather conditions may necessitate the need for wind barriers – please come prepared.
    11. Stall Holders who have indicated that they require a powered site (see application) shall provide their own electrical leads that must be tested and tagged in accordance with the electrical regulations. The BGG management reserves the right to refuse connection to power if safety standards are not adequate.  Leads must be covered by carpet or tape to reduce trip hazards.

This is a family sporting event that promotes a healthy lifestyle and we encourage you to keep this in mind in relation to your product. FOOD VENDORS ONLY: We strongly encourage food vendors to offer healthy options. Please provide details of the healthy food choices you will be offering. See also attached ‘Application to undertake temporary food service’ form from the City of Bunbury.
